Teens Epilepsy Support Group

BACK IN JANUARY 2025

We have been lucky enough to secure funding from Social Enterprise Kent to run a social and support group for teens with epilepsy.

Through personal experience we are very aware that with uncontrolled epilepsy your teenage years can look very different to that of your peers, and could be very isolating.

We have set up this group that will run for 12-17 year olds.

After feedback we will initially start back in 2025 to a monthly meet with fortnightly coming back as needed.

We will have different activities each time and a chance for teens to meet others that are experiencing similar things.

This will be supervised by adults with DBS and experience of Epilepsy, and parents can also stay and have a chat.

Spaces are limited to 10 teens on a first come first served basis.

Parents/Carers will need to drop off and collect from our studio at Westwood cross and on first visit will have to complete some forms.
